The spectrum of materials used varies for each finish. It is mixed between zinc, brass, cubic zircon, copper, nickel and sterling silver. Please note that anyone who is sensitive to costume jewellery, mild or otherwise is advised not to purchase.
Sterling Silver Jewellery
- Protect your jewellery from Sharp Blows, Scratches and Extreme Temperatures.
- To maintain appearance, avoid contact with Perfumes, Sprays, Chemicals and Water.
- Keep your jewellery in a Clean, Dry and Airtight Box. Wipe it using a soft cloth regularly.
- Always put your jewellery on last, after your makeup, when you are ready to go.
- It is also best to remove your jewellery before bathing, swimming, applying lotions, doing household chores, gardening and other laborious activities, playing sports or going to the gym.
- Sterling silver will tarnish over time and with use, this is caused by a reaction with sulphur that naturally occurs in the air. The tarnishing effect can be removed easily by buffing with a sliver jewellery cloth.
- If possible store your silver jewellery in plastic zip lock bags to avoid contact with the air and reduce the tarnishing effect.
Freshwater Pearl Jewellery
- Protect your jewellery from Sharp Blows, Scratches and Extreme Temperatures.

- Never Soak Pearls.
- Before you store the pearls away, make sure that they have been cleaned of any dirt, such as body oils, by wiping them with a clean soft cloth.
- Store Pearls separate because they are soft, pearls are easily scratched by other pieces of jewellery.
- Store your pearls flat without leaving them hanging. This will prevent damage to the string and keep it from stretching.
- Store pearls in a non-abrasive fabric pouch such as chamois, or fabric lined jewellery box, away from heat.
- Avoid storing pearls in sealed plastic bags or airtight spaces such as a safe deposit box.
Gemstone Jewellery
- Protect your jewellery from Sharp Blows, Scratches and Extreme Temperatures.
- To maintain appearance, avoid contact with Perfumes, Sprays, Chemicals and Water.
- Keep your jewellery in a Clean, Dry and Airtight Box. Wipe it using a soft cloth regularly.
- Always put your jewellery on last, after your makeup, when you are ready to go.
- It is also best to remove your jewellery before bathing, swimming, applying lotions, doing household chores, gardening and other laborious activities, playing sports or going to the gym.
- When putting on rings and other jewellery with semi-precious stones, never place pressure directly on the stones
- Gemstone Jewellery should only be polished with a soft, lint-free cloth or chamois. Even tissue is liable to leave hairline scratches on the metal and stones which will dull even the hardest of gems over time.
- Protect Your Gemstones from Sunlight and Heat
- Avoid Soaking Porous Stones like pearls, opal, emerald, turquoise etc in water since these gemstones are porous they will soak up the water they are placed in. To clean porous stones, gently wipe them with a damp, clean cloth.
- Store Gemstone Jewellery separately because they may be scratched by other pieces of jewellery. Try to keep pieces separate from one another in jewellery storage pouches, stands or boxes, as rubbing up against each other will over time, cause your jewellery to become scratched or scuffed.
